Making a Difference
Konocti Fire Safe Council is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before, and we are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Below are areas where you can have an immediate impact.
Our goal is to have Firewise Communities covering all of our service area. That's why we are reaching out beyond or local homeowners associations to empower local leaders to get their neighborhoods certified.
It takes a comprehensive multi-media approach to reach residents throughout our area. That's why in addition to building digital platforms, we are sending out teams to build in person relationships and are targeting legacy media outlets.
Advocacy
Partnerships with Government Agencies and Community Groups are critical. that's why we are on the front lines building the relationships that bring resources into our area.
